Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and SASS LLC (“SASS,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the SASS mobile app and this website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

SASS is an AI dating and texting companion. It helps you make sense of messages and screenshots, decode mixed signals, draft replies, and think through dating and communication situations. SASS is AI, not a human, and its responses are generated automatically. SASS provides general guidance and texting support only.

SASS is not a substitute for professional help. Specifically, SASS is:

• not therapy and not a licensed therapist or mental-health provider;
• not medical, legal, or financial advice;
• not emergency or crisis support.

If you are in danger, in crisis, or need urgent help, contact your local emergency number or a qualified professional. In the United States, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not rely on SASS in an emergency.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your region) and able to form a binding agreement to use SASS. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information, and contact us at support@trysass.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You keep ownership of the messages, screenshots, and images you provide to SASS (“Your Content”). You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the Service — for example, to store Your Content, to send it to our AI providers so SASS can respond, and to display it back to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for making sure you have the right to share it, including messages or images that involve other people.

You agree not to use SASS to:

• break the law or encourage others to;
• harass, threaten, stalk, or harm another person;
• share content that is unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share;
• reverse-engineer, disrupt, overload, or misuse the Service or its infrastructure;
• use the Service to build a competing product or to train other AI systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for other users or the Service.

SASS’s replies, suggestions, and drafted messages are for your consideration only. You decide whether and how to act on them, and you are responsible for what you choose to say or do. SASS does not guarantee any particular outcome — including any relationship, dating, or communication result — and AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not right for your situation.

SASS offers optional Premium features through an auto-renewing subscription. For the current version, subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel it any time in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Deleting your SASS account does not cancel your Apple subscription — you must cancel through Apple, or Apple may continue to bill you. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we handle it, including how Incognito modes work. Please read it. Note that SASS is not anonymous and is not end-to-end encrypted.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of AI-generated content. You use SASS at your own discretion and risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SASS LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions you make based on SASS’s guidance. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate; continuing to use SASS after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using SASS and delete your account at any time, and we may suspend or end access to protect the Service or its users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
